Can I use some kind of jumper to make mobo think CPU fan is installed?

As I would prefer to control it manually with a fan controller

I know some motherboards can be set up not to give a CPU fan warning, but I haven't decided on my new build yet so unsure whether my next mobo will have this option.

And I will be keeping all the safety features on before someone starts with the health and safety lol.

Well my MSI Z77A-GD65 doesn't seem bothered that I've got all my fans on a controller - I don't know if that's common on newer motherboards or not though.

Your board will more than likely have options in the bios to disable warnings or detection of fans, not seen many without.

on a series note, you can disable it in bios on all motherboards i've used, unsure about fan controller

My fan controller plugs into my CPU fan header to give it the rpm readings.
