As title, really. I'd like to be able to search my external drives (flash and hdd) without having to connect them to my computer. Is there a way that I can use spotlight to catalogue the contents of external drives so they can be searched even when they aren't connected to my computer (Macbook, SL 10.6.4)?
Can I use spotlight to remember the contents of external devices?
