hi i recently got myself a gtx 770 so when i fitted it i tidied the pc up abit sorted out my cable management and now when ever i do any 3d heavy stuff ive been getting power surges ( asus anti-surge is triggered to protect computer from unstable power supply) and im in the process of elimination what i think it mite be is i have only one 8pin pcie cable and the gtx 770 needs two 8 pins so i put a molex to 6 pin adapter and a 6 pin to 8 pin adapter on my l4p+s4p cable i think its the peripheral one can i do that or is this the reason why im getting power surges??any help would be most appreciated.
