Can I use the secondary graphics card as a primary for osx?

Hi,
I have a Asus P6T deluxe v2...and a 5850 which isnt supported by snow leopard...

so.. if i installed a graphics card that would work into the secondary pci-e slot would that work for snow leopard??

I cant find a choice in the bios that allows you to use the secondary card... buit the 5850 would work in osx at low resolution enough to swap to the secondary card within osx? would that work? is that possible???
