Can I use this power supply ?

I bought a power supply to resurrect an old PC.

It is less than 18 months old and very rarely used, rated 750W. and unbranded.

It has a 24 + 4 pin connector.

Can I use this connection wise for a new build ? Mainly office work, internet and some home video work. Seems a pity to waste it.

yea you could use it but I wouldn't trust it. just sell it on or give it to somone you dont like.

I wouldn't trust unbranded psu's in even a cheap machine.

I always prefer to use decent PSU's regardless of machine spec.

You can use the power supply with todays systems with the connections.

If its cheap components in the pc it may be worth the risk. If your psu blows it can take out other components. That said the kids pcs have blowna coue of pays in the past and its never caused any other damage.
