Hi there

Just a quickie.
I'm moving house and my new area in the home to have my PC monitors will probably have the sun shining onto the backs of the monitors for maybe 5 or 6 hours a day in summer.

Which got me wondering (and sellotaping white sheets of paper to the back) if monitors can actually overheat and if so, what happens?

Any ideas?

- Cheers

Yeah, I made sure not to block anything.
My white paper 'heat reflection system' is attached pretty wisely ;)

I also have blinds, but I really don't wanna be opening and closing them constantly.
I'd quite like the sun to come in and make my room lovely and bright. Still..... I'll see how it goes. Just don't wanna be doing any permanent damage to my monitors. That's what I was concerned about :(
