Can my blu-ray player play Region 1?

Hi all,

I was hoping someone could help me determine whether my blu-ray player can play Region 1 discs?

It's a Panasonic BDT260EB.

Reason for asking is that I want to buy the decent version of Gangs of New York, but it's only available in the USA.

The obvious solution would be to buy it and give it a go, but i'd rather save money if it was found not to work...!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ah nice, that is the one! I might just take a punt on it based on it's listing there being region-free then.

Hi guys, just to let you know I got the disc and it played perfectly!

So thanks very much for the advice. It looked cracking compared to the UK release!
