Anyone know of a site where you can input your computer's specs and it'll bring up a list of compatible games and software? I'm thinking about buying a new laptop (obviously not expecting it to run the latest games) and I'd like to know what it could run.

Give us the specs and we'll advise :)

Yougamers has a game-o-meter based on 3D mark scores. You have to click game by game to see how your system would cope.

Mac Book - 2.0GHz, Intel Core 2 Duo ,2GB DDR2 Memory, 120GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M.

For the last few years I've been using Windows laptops, mainly because it was cheaper to buy a PC than a Mac. But I'm about to come into some money and I'm considering switching back to Macintosh (looking at the MacBook because it's the cheapest of Apple's current line up of laptops).

I wouldnt bother with a Mac if your serious about running games, even through they have bootcamp its still slow at best, and there are still a very limited supply of osx native games, For your money you will get a far better gaming laptop
