What make and model of TV?

I assume it's HD so the resolution will be 1920x1080.

You'll be able to use the TV as a display. I assume it has a HDMI connection.

If you play games then compare the 1920x1080 resolution against whatever you're using now and it will give you an idea of whether you'll get similar or poorer performance.

Size isn't the issue it's the resolution you are running. I'll assume your new TV is 1920x1080 and if so, the 5770 is fine.

The size of the TV is irrelevant what matters is the resolution, is it 1920x1080 or 1366x768? the former will be far from ideal but the latter should be fine.

If it is an "HD Ready" TV then you will be able to play whatever games youy want on high settings no problems. If it is a "Full HD" TV then like mmj says you will probably have to turn the graphics details down in some games but it will still look decent.
On the other hand if you are not playing games, then none of this matters:)

tbh it doesn't matter what res his tv is...

op is asking could he connect his tv to his graphic card....

simple answer. yes u can connect your tv to your graphic card via hdmi or vga

Sorry guy i was really unclear.

My TV is Samsung and it's only 720P. My 5770 has HDMI output too.

I Only play wow atm and the res is 1440 x 900(wide).
