Searched the forum, and I've googled, but I still don't know so I'm posting.
I have this graphics card:
Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition Windforce 3X 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
I'm thinking of a widescreen monitor. Maybe not this one, but something like it in terms of pixel count - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/acer...e-zeroframe-curved-led-monitor-mo-109-ac.html
Will my graphics card run that thing? I've looked at AMD's specs for this card and it says 2560 x 1600 maximum, but I'm reading other stuff online that seems to contradict this???
Uses:
Photoshop
Video editing
Lots of low power apps like MS office, Acrobat and other work programs.
Not currently doing any gaming but might go back to it sometime. What would happen if I tried to run a game, assuming it would run the other stuff above.
Currently using a Dell 2560 x 1600 monitor (ancient - doesn't even have HDMI output) and it's great, but I can see that I'd work even faster with more room on screen.
