Last night my email acc. Was hacked and i traced the ip address to somewhere in the US, either washington or kansas depending on the site used, i have since changed my hotmail password. But how safe am i on an ipad etc, i input just as much info as i do on my pc, but how secure am i?

Is your iPad jailbroken? it does reduce the security of the device (although I have been running a jailbroken iDevice since the iPod touch 2G and havent had any hacks of my accounts)

If not, you should be perfectly fine, I havent read or heard of any keyloggers within iDevices. I would take a look at any of the desktops you use

No its not jail broken, ran virus scan on pc, nothing came up, i dont use toolbars or anything.

Is there any app that can check the ipad/ios?

I'm not aware of an app that can read your Safari data and share it. Your information should be as safe using the iPad browser as it is if you are using your PC's browser.

If I had my email account hacked I would expect it to have been done by either brute force attack or by a key logger. Your PC is probably more vulnerable to the latter.
