Can my PSU support the RX 6900 or RX 6800? New to PC gaming and building.

Hi, I'm fairly new to PC building and upgrading. I'm looking to nap the RX 6900, or RX 6800 in the future. I read the minimum wat for the RX 6900 is 850 W, and the minimum for the RX 6800 is 750 W, at lest according to the website. This is my PC.Now, I realise I have a 750 W PSU, but I've read the some people say not to be too concerned with a minimum wat on a GPU. Even when I've used various online PSU calculators, and included my build, along with the 6800/6900, is says I need 600 or less wat across several tests.

So, explaining it to me like I am five, why exactly are some people saying not to worry about the minimum wat. but the website gives a minimum?

It's just a guide - but you want to, with PSU's, to leave headroom. If your computer for instance takes in 600W max you wouldnt want a 600W PSU - it would be working way too hard.

This is just a guess, but I reckon they will overestimate just to be safe.

Your PSU will be fine with upgrades and what not - you will find out quickly if it's not! haha. Either way, in my opinion, nothing to worry about.

I'm personally going to be using an Enhance 600W Flex ATX power supply in my own build with a 5600X and 6800XT but a 750W-850W power supply is going to be perfect and leave headroom. I don't think the RX 6000 cards are going to be having power draw spikes like the RTX 3000 series which can trip the overcurrent protection.

To add - the higher the efficiency rating (bronze/gold/platinum etc), the less you need to worry about being close to the rating limit. It is still a good idea to leave headroom too though.
