Hi,

Can someone spec me a monitor for £120 or less meeting these must haves or is it simply a 'can't be done?' (if so what is the minimum price I'm looking at?)

Min 20" widescreen
LED backlight
Audio (speakers/headphone in)
HDMI input
'Decent' make/reviews for image quality- good for gaming.

Thanks y'all :D

Hi there,

Is a non-LED backlight a deal-breaker for you?

If not, then you can get quite a few nice quality CCFL backlit monitors for your budget that meet your other needs.

This 21.5in Samsung for example is a good monitor for the price. It has a HDMI input and a 3.5mm audio-out connection to connect to headphones/speakers.

I am by no means an expert on monitors but I do like the added vibrancy you seem to get with LED over LCD. I’ve been looking at the BenQ E2220HD though which looks like it has a good range of features (though not LED). I don’t really know what I’m after to be honest. It just has to be dirt cheap and be good for games at the end of the day – oh and have speakers (I’ll mostly be using headphones but I like the option in case I want to quickly play some other people youtube vids or something).
