Hey everyone.
This is my forum rig:
http://www.overclock.net/lists/display/view/id/6248884
I wanted to get your opinion if the following modifications will make much of a thermal difference for my CPU.
My Vendor will be installing an AX480 Quad Fan Radiator replacing an A360 one. Plus replacing the current fans which, are all of stock quality not premium with Corsair SP 120/140 fans.
They'll also be installing more fans on the other side of both radiators (CPU/GPU) to achieve a push pull affect.
At the moment, you can hardly feel any air flow in the system unless you move your hand right close to the fan(s).
When they originally stress tested the system at speeds of 4.25Ghz for a near 24 hours, the peak temperature was 74C. I intend to push this up to 4.5Ghz.
My Vendor claim this will not make hardly any difference, and I appreciate their honesty, but I wanted to get a second opinion. They're also going to charge me a bomb doing it.
