Hi all,
I used to use my laptop with full battery without having to plug it in to the mains, and so I could sit in the garden with it for example but not so long ago my wireless completly stopped working so I phoned my ISP and the guy fixed it but now I cannot use my wireless unless my laptop is plugged in at all times, do you have any idea how I make it go back to how it was before?

I've been on the acer ePower management and it now says lan disabled when I've unplugged my laptop, so I tried to change it to enable but its highlighed and wont let me.

Thanks

Emily

It might be worth checking the device manager and under your wireless adapter and check on the power management tab if Allow the computer to turn of this device to save power is ticked. If it is untick it and hopefully that should solve your problem.

With the Acer Epower, try making a new profile for when the laptop is using battery power and tell it to turn on the Wireless when doing so.
