Ok.

So I was going to build a new desktop PC, however, I've discovered GTA V won't be out for 6 months on PC, so... I don't need an upgrade yet.

HOWEVER... my current laptop is old and bulky, it's dieing a bit, and I'm contemplating a new laptop.

For 1k, is it possible to get a laptop that is decent, fact CPU and can play games?

Would like Windows 8 preferably too.

Thanks.

Add the Win8 64-bit and up the memory to 8GB should bring the total to £999.90.

The 60GB SSD IMO is too small, so if you can up your budget, you could up the SSD the Sandisk 256GB, but that would bring the total to £1065.90. If you really can't stretch beyond £1000, but still want larger capacity, there's the options of the Seagate Hybrid drives as well. They won't be as fast as actual SSD, but they are still got option of budget is an issue.
