can see desktop outlines in games? windows 7 bug?

hey all this is going to sound weird but when im in wow i can see the outline of my desktop in certain areas, its very faint but now ive noticed it i want to know why and how i can stop it.

ive googled and cant find anything similair and dont know where to turn or what settings to try.

can you get a screenshot of what you mean? Might clarify the problem better

Screenburn? Old crt monitor? If not probably more to do with your gpu.

If its not screenburn on a CRT Id try installing the latest GPU drivers.
