Got my sister's netbook here as she couldnt get rid of a trojan on her system plus she said she couldnt get web pages to load up so i though both was conected. Went to her's loaded up up in safe mode found i could access the web there so i ran housecall and that found some problems & i ran malwarebytes an that also found some problems.
Restarted the netbook and the problem with the trojan had gone but still cant access web pages with IE. So brought the netbook back here So tried installing FF but still cant get web pages.
An now i cant even get any web pages while in safe mode. The thing is can sign into skype fine and she has a programme on here as she is blind to be able to use twitter and can send message with that ok so the netbook can talk to the net but not for web browsing. An the first thing i though of was windows firewall but that is switched off so that cant be blocking HTTP.
So any ideas how i can fix this please?

had to fixed my girlfriends grandparents PC and they had exact same thing, malware creating fake AV adverts etc but no internet access. Ran malwarebytes and changed the IE setting (had been set to use a proxy by the malware/trojan i guess)
