I'm sorry about the previous post and the use of 'text' speech, i was unaware that it was frowned upon as i am new to the forum. In future posts i will try my hardest not to use it. i wanted some help in choosing a cpu for a new pc im planning to build, i have a max budget of £700 and am torn between the Q6600 and the E2180. I have heard that the E2180 overclocks very well and it is a great deal cheaper than the Q6600 which would allow me to spend the saved money on better quality components elsewhere, such as a nicer case, more ram... and so on. however if the Q6600 is a great deal more powerful than the E1280 (i will use the pc mainly for gaming) i would be willing to put in the extra money. Also if i was to get the E1280 what motherboard and cooler would work best when overclocking it i had in mind the Gigabyte GA_P35_DS3P and a Tuniq Tower would that be enough to clock it to 3.0ghz+?
thanks for your advice, and once again i apologise for the previous use of text speech
