Hi first off thanks to any one who takes the time out to help me, very decent of you !!

Any way running a evga 680i motherbaord with a Q6600. Have chosen in the bios to unlink the memory with the overclock of my Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz.

Having loads of trouble trying to get my memory to run at even default speeds. The meory I am using is this one Team Xtreem 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 PC2-8000C5 1000MHz Dual Channel Kit. - 2.1V - 2.3V

Any way I have tried setting the Mhz at 1000 and the PC boots to the blue screen as about to load vista. I have left the voltage on Auto but have tried 2.1v and still the same.

The only way I can seem to get it running ok is to set the memory at 800Mhz at Auto voltage

Can any one advise please on the best way to get this memory running at even stock speeds ??

The memory option I am using is 2T
