That should be about YOU, not your employment. You're not an HR Officer, you're an individual. If they want to see what you do at the moment they'll look at your employment section. You've written a paragraph in bulletpoint style there as well, you might want to consider making it into a smoother piece of text overall. Lose "Overall generalist with", it makes you sound uncertain, and the rest of the sentence doesn't need it. Lose the capital P in Packages.

They'll almost certainly want to ascertain if claims like these are accurate - get yourself a GOOD reference and referee from the company.

Again, maybe it's HR lingo, but what the heck is "generalist"?

Are you First Aid qualified then? If so, say that.

Taking ownership of what? Sentence doesn't quite flow.
"
Promoted and participated in teamwork and provided support for other tasks as required" - Vague, like what?

Details - employers like to know when you got them, what they were in, and what you achieved.

PROFESSIONAL BODIES

Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development

TRAINING

First Aid, Health and Safety, Disciplinary & Grievance, Absence Management, PeopleSoft and ADP.

Sort of ties in with First Aid comment earlier - does this just mean you've done courses, or you hold some sort of recognised certification? If so, make that clear.

PERSONAL DETAILS

Nationality: British
Full Clean Driving Licence

I presume you've removed a lot of info for posting it on here, but should be more complete, and also advisable to have it top of the first page, with your name centred in large bold print - you don't want them to forget/lose track of you!

INTERESTS

Reading, Travel and Keeping Fit.

Everyone can say this, you've clearly done a lot over the years, sell yourself a bit more. What about sporting achievements? Organised/run anything in societies that you could mention? Don't make interests JUST about your interests, show that you also achieve things outside of work.

REFERENCES

Available upon request.

Can do, or can attach (usually up to 3) sets of referee details here for them to easily contact. Remember, YOU want this job, don't make them have to work too hard for you, they'll get put off.

Hope all that's of some help :)

Cheers for the comments and they have been noted. Not as many points wrong thanI would have first thought.

The CV is not mine it is someone elses. I would be using this as a template, so to speak to layout my own and my girlfriends.
