Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz stock cooling
12gb corsair ddr3 1333
ati radion hd 4870 x2
antec 1000w power suply

about 4tb hard drive space(saving for ssd)
windows 7 ultimate
if any one can help i would be very greatful

Get some aftermarket cooling. Do not overclock with the stock coolers as they are very inadequate, specially for an i7.

Never auto-overclock. Set the values/voltages yourself.

I think posting up your settings will be the most helpful thing you could do fella, plus auto overclocking options are never the best thing, it always pays to learn it and do it yourself.

Saying that I see you have stock cooling, sort that out first before you go overclocking otherwise wont be worth it.

Hope this helps

Im sure someone will correct me if Im wrong but

21 is the multiplier
133.59 is the speed of the FSB

2805.47 MHz is the overall speed

CPU 1.0450 V - this is the voltage, look this up before taking it as gosepl but I dont THINK you should go over 1.4v (Again, make sure you double check this as I don't want to advise you wrongly)

The way to overclock is raising the FSB gradually in steps of 5mhz (because remeber it will be multiplied by 21x) rebooting, checking temps and streesing the CPU to keep everything stable, if it doesn't boot you may need to adjust the CPU voltage (currently 1.0450v)

Again, read the stickies on overclocking because these are more knowledgeable than I am

windy you look to have a pretty good system that should overclock quite easy but the downside is you have to change the cooling first, the stock heatsink and fan would be inadequate, my advice is upgrade that and post again and im sure myself and quite a few others could give you some settings to try and you will soon have that baby running 3.6 to 3.8ghz no problem

just finished installing new cooler stats so far
CPU 23oC
System 21oC
CPU 1.2960 V

3359.30 MHz
0159.96 X 21.0

how does that sound any advice whats next
