Hi,

Around 6 months ago i built my first pc, everything is fine however i did not have enough cables for the amount of drives i have.

I have a 256GB SSD and 1 TB HD.

When putting it together i realized i didn't have a lead to go from my motherboard to my HD so its currently sat in my case not in use, i should have ordered one right away but just didn't get round to it now its been so long since i built it i have forgotten it is what i need.

Can some one tell me what lead it is im looking for

Look up SATA data cable on eBay and buy a few, they're only a few quid delivered.

Thats the cheapest one i can find. There are loads of different colours out there if that interests you. Just search "sata data cable"

Oh and make sure your psu has enough power sata cables too!

Might have some spare sata's in your motherboard box if you still have it.
Normally comes with a 3-4.

did u not use a sata cable to the dvd rom drive to install windows ??? u could use that
