Just be aware where it says:
"25ms or less should be fine for gaming in most cases. Panels with 16ms, 12ms and 8ms became common place and ghosting has become even less of a problem"
Somewhere along the line the way they measured it changed... most old "25"ms panels will clock in at 8ms by the new G2G standard, older "12-16"ms panels around 5-6ms and so on.
I wouldn't worry too much about the panel types unless you want to do media type work where color precision is key - all current panels regardless of type are less than ideal for gaming with atleast 2-3 residual images no matter how good the specs.
