my motherboard isnt an sli board but will be using 2 gtx 470s with only 1 monitor, will the other gpu still fold or will it need a dummy plug? thanks!

It will still fold, folding doesn't use sli, you'll run 2 different work units on each card.

There's an SLI hack you get get for Windows which will enable SLI on a non-SLI board (google and you'll find it). If you plan to game with the rig then it isn't a bad idea to install it.

it can sometimes take a couple of days to show

is there a search function so i can find myself? like in notepad you can search for words, is there a way to do that on a webpage?, if not ill copy the list into notepad

depends on your browser, but control F (or edit, find on the menu) works in most.
