If anybody free, just want to see if the layout is ok! I need to obtain the results from my modules on the last entry there!

Also where Employment history is, can i replace this with relevant employment history as i did abit of I.T work for my dads mate and i was on their payroll system. Also created a website for a company where would i put that?

Is it really neccasary to list jobs that are not envolving I.T when going for a job in I.T?

If you provide me with your e-mail address ill send you the C.V

Definately put in any work experience youve done. You can then blag that youve learnt valuable IT skills which will benefit your future job blah blah blah.

Mention you created a webby in hobbies and interests and put a link in a footnote or something like that.

If youve had jobs in the past which have involved things like team work or communication skills then mention the jobs. You can blag that these will benefit you in future jobs.

hope this helps, my emails brocksta[at]gmail.com.

I'd like to apologise for the following text as it is completely OT.

Ok, so, people applying for a job in I.T, would you put Objectives?

This is the layout i have so far

Personal Details
Education Qualifications
Achievements
Hobbies
Relevant Employment History
References

does this look ok? or shall i add Objectives (My aims/goals)

Think about your CV as a sales document and your prospective employer as a buyer. They need to know what you are 'good' at - what you do and have done well - what you are proud of - whether it be in employment or hobby or sport etc.

They need to know whether you are worth buying

Name
1st ACHIEVEMENTS
2nd Education (in reverse order - latest first) *
3rd Employment (in reverse order again)*
4th Personal Details
5th Hobbies
6th References (don't give them - say they are available)

* Generally say most about latest and least about oldest

Don't forget that normally CV's don't get you a job - they
are to get you an interview.

Sell yourself !

I almost put them last.
The most important things are:
What you have done well
What you can do well
What you have learnt to do well.
It's a bit like when you go to buy a new car or TV or house -
you are looking for the best that suits your needs (and wants)
and that's what the person with the job vacancy is going to be looking for.
Your personal details may have a bearing on your success but
it is most likely at interview.
Best of luck.
