Doesn't have a DVI connection, only VGA. Does your graphics card have a DVI connection? If so, look for a TFT that has a DVI Interface. Some will also tell you that a TN panel is rubbish but each to thier own. I have a TN panel TFT and happy with it except that i am now after a 20" TFT.

my ati4850 has dvi but i am currently using a converter which came with it to connect my crt monitor. Is there anything really noticibly better using a direct dvi?

Well, i see a big difference between VGA and DVI. some might not but for me the text and quality of the output is so much better on the screen with DVI.

is this monitor better then?

if your really really hard up then the spec is good for the price but if your willing to save up a bit more then click me would be a far better buy.

i can see why your tempted as the monitors they have on display are the same spec as the better known brands but only half the price...but how good do the colours look ?
you may just end up getting what u pay for which isnt much.
