I havent overlcocked anything since my 8800GT and Q6600,

so i decided to overclock my gear that i have had for 6 months, can anyone tell me if these benchmarks look right?

CPU: I5 760
GPU:Palit 460 GTX 768mb
Mobo: Asus P7P55-M (such a mistake :( cant even git all of my PCIE stuff)
Ram: XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

here are some screens of my Overclocks

the rig in my sig scores 780 @ 1920 x 1200 on the default settings in heaven so it looks like your overclock on the gfx card is running ok as my 1gb gtx 460 should be ahead of your 768mb one :)

i'll run vantage and see what i get i that also.

Cheers,

doesnt sound too bad then

i would be dissapointed myself, i was told when i bought my setup that the 460GTX was better than the HD6850, but due to the price difference i went for the HD6850. my cpu is also a lot weaker than yours

this is what i got in vantage, i think i need to switch off physx lol :) and i could only view results online.

you should try 3dmark 2011 :)

6850 is better than 460, its hard to be dissapointed in the 460 for £112, also the 6850 wasnt even out when i got my 460

my 460 is only a 786mb people you are referring to were more than likely suggesting the much better 1GB version

i paid £110 for my 6850 new  but i kind of see your point, although an i5 4GHz should do a lot better than an X2 250, not sure how much cpu comes into heavens score though

i am not up to date with the prices these have been,,,, but damn that is cheap! thats an awesome card for that price

CPU makes very little difference in heaven benchmark, its a GPU test

lol i can't have my card being beaten by a 768mb 460 and a 6850 so here :)

only a small oc but enough :p

as long as your cpu is modern i don't think it really affects heaven at all.

3d mark 2011 would be a better benchmark as you can run it for free and it gives cpu and gpu scores.

lol ok, just running mine on performance, but with 1920x1080 to see what i get, should be pretty close on gpu scores but your cpu should obliterate mine :(

very odd, im getting it the other way, well sort of. 3dmark 11 works fine, vantage works fine on extreme but crashes on performance, but i will not let it beat me, i will finish a test with performance settings
