I have been having problems updating my bios "selected file is not a proper bios!", so i been checking a few things, is this normal, on the ranger viii driver page for bios, all 3 bios files are different sizes, but when i download them and unzip them, they all appear to be the exact same size, is this correct ? strange thou that they are different sizes before you download them, here is photo

I dont want to use flashback as i have heard of horror stories, where it gets stuck on error codes and then cant even post to bios, want to do in actual bios like most people use.

USB flashback is supposed to be the safest way to flash. First I have ever heard of horror stories with it and I have used it many times with no problems. Things tend to go wrong when using a windows flashing method.

I too have had ZERO issues with the flashback method. Read the manual, stick the USB stick in the right USB slot and then follow the instructions. It really does work fine...
