Hi, Would just like an experienced take on my HWInfo figures playing Assetto Corsa maxed out, PC spec is as per sig,
Max CPU/Thread usage 99.3%
Total CPU usage 21.5%,
Max CPU Temp 37.8 Degrees C,
VR Mos 40 Degrees C,
GPU utilization 96%,
GPU clock max 1672Mhz,
Memory clock max 949Mhz,
GPU Hotspot max 63 Degrees C,
1440p, 75hz, 32" AOC monitor.
Windows 10 Pro 64Bit.
I just want to know if these figures are about as good as i'm going to get because i need to give tinkering a rest and just game!! Cheers for any advice (About to start night shift so can't get back again untill tommorow afternoon)

Why not post on hwinfo forum. Martin usually replies promptly.

You haven't listed what framerates you're getting.

From the looks of it these are maximum figures rather than actual usage figures. Can you get an idea of the actual usage in-game? Try something that graphs usage like MSI Afterburner, and alt+tab out during a game.

The temperatures seem low so I'd be surprised if the system is being maxed out.

Thanks for the replies, I've got frame rate capped at 75, From a bottleneck point of view is it good to have the GPU nearly flat out and the CPU not so? That's would I would have thought? Cheers.

If your frame rate is capped at 75, and you're achieving 75, then neither component is necessarily going to be flat out. Technically, the bottleneck is your monitor and capped framerates then :)

Sure in general you don't want one component to be limiting others too much, but it varies from game to game. Plus you might well do other things with the PC that need that extra power.

Time to start playing and enjoying ;)
