Can someone explain dual rail psu pls

As title says. Bit unsure as to the advantage or disadvantage of dual 12v rails

And they seem to be causing a lot of problems with Crossfire motherboards and some SLi rigs. Seems that unless you're really careful which connectors you use, you end up trying to take too much from one rail for it to work properly. I would recommend buying a U15 or U22 Tagan which has a switch to select one 12v rail or two.

Have a tagan 530w u22. Was just bit unsure what was best config. Thanks for responses
