Ok so i started death toll in multiplayer and noticed there was a microstutter when the camra pulled out ive got a XFX 4890 im sure this shouldnt happen because when playing the game in single player (death toll) the camra pulled out in the intro and it was perfect no stutter at all, anyone have any ideas?:confused:

Thanks:)

I get this sometimes with my XFX 4870, but the game plays fine so it doesn't bother me. Network issues rather than video card I reckon.

Isnt the intro to death toll the same in multiplayer and single player so there should be no stuttering  , plus my latency is allways good with low pings and no lag, i just confusing myself :confused::confused:

I believe its an FPS game developed by Valve in which you shoot zombies and try and not get your brains nommed.

;)

Not sure on your card as I don't have an ATI. However, have you tried cranking some settings down or adjusting anything at all? Might be worth having a play about to see if you get any luck fixing it?

Ninja Edit for above:- The intro is indeed the same. Pan around from the tunnel, look at the sign and then into the woods where everyone is stood at the Police car. "Stuttering" sounds to me like GPU performance rather than network connection borking you. Normally you can tell if it is network because it's more of a freeze then return to normal, or you'll miss some sound, or it will catch up with itself really fast after stopping - then the game will perform flawlessly throughout after.

Have you checked your settings and disabled multicore rendering and all that jazz to see if it helps?

Also if the game runs fine and it's just the "intro movie" to the level I really wouldn't be arsed personally...

Pretty sure its a network thing too. Try loading it up in single player and seing if it still happens. I think when you first join a server its receiving a bunch of information while that intro bit is played, which cause it to jump a little bit.

if its not stuttering when you try it in single player then theres nothing wrong with the graphics card since the intros are indeed identical. I definately think its a network issue. It could even be that some people are still loading and entering the game while you watch the intro which makes the video less smooth

I get the same problem and I'm on a 280gtx - I'm pretty sure it's network related (my ping is usually <40ms) Annoying - but at least it's only for the intro movie - not a very good advert for an online game though
