I really like the MCU movies but every time I see her in it I can't help but be reminded of what a horrible person she is. Not just crazy, but an outright scammer.

She's basically a snake oil salesperson. Conning tons of vulnerable people into buying her crap. And the weirdest thing is she has no reason to do any of this, she's probably financially set for life and even if she wasn't, with her skills it wouldn't be difficult to find a partner who would support her.
