Can someone help explain this?

So whilst playing a bit of tomb raider on my newly built machine, I've noticed this appearing on the bottom. Does anyone know what this is?

FYI I'm running a gtx1080, 6700k on a custom wc loop and I'm playing this on 4k if thats any use.

I have no idea what that means, could you explain please?

It hasn't been overclocked. Going to test it on other games tonight and tomorrow and see what happens.

You can verify through steam whether the game data has become corrupted/altered on your storage drive. It's unlikely to be that though imho.

It just looks like poor textures to me. Try a different amount/version of AA and see if that helps. Might just be a game bug but if it does it in other games, could be faulty memory on your GPU but I doubt it and do think it is just dodgy textures.
