Im on my brothers laptop trying to find drivers for his desktop, im looking for the onboard lan/ethernet drivers for a 82845G chipset. The intel site is a joke only holds the VGA drivers and I can't find them anywhere.

Ive used sandrasoft to identify the model but all it says is MS TCP loopback interface???

Would greatly appreciate any help finding the drivers, hope this is within site rules, I know the OC forums members are a decent bunch.

have you tried cpu-z, the mainboard tab might give more info for it.

Been away from pc's for a while, i used to use cpuz all the time I don't know why I didnt think of that. I have more chipset info so hopefully should be able to find it.

what motherboard is it ? what make and model maybe better luck getting drivers from the manufactures webby rather than intels
