Hello all, since taking the battery out of my clio (R reg 97) its reset the standard radio code and am having immense trouble re inputting it. I had two codes, one inside the service manual ("radio code" 8660) and another one the previous owner wrote down on a peice of card also inside the service manual ("code" 0487). Theres nothing inside any of the manuals to do with the radio.
I can input both numbers but nothing happens when i finish the last digit, ive tried every button on the radio except the number 6 which appears to reset it not allowing me to input another code for about 12 hours or until i disconnect the battery again. below is a picture of the radio fascia.
I thought the number 5 might be be like an enter button but does nothing,and like i said the number 6 resets it. To enter the code i have to use the numbers 1-4 for the 4 digits, much like a combination lock pushing the buttons till the correct number comes up!
Does anyone else have a similar factory standard radio similar to this, I think our old E class mercedes had a similar blaupunkt radio so am calling on all similar radio owners for help please please please
