Ah, excellent insight then! Thanks. While a major one, this is one of many issues so i will be absolutely sure to understand the water maintenance guidelines as suggested as and when this becomes an issue.

Googling both both boilers some more, this is now understood as well as the various components in the plant room (Pentair rapid sand filter, the auto chlorine/bromine feeder, the Viessmann combi, etc). I clearly need to find the storage vessel(s) for the other Baxi heat only boiler. Worth posting this thread for me, the knowledge here is great sometimes. :)

Highly recommend you switch to chlorine rather than bromine as a disinfectant. The bromine biproducts can be pretty unpleasant. Whether you use calcium hypo or sodium hypo will depend on your water, as will whatever you use as pH control (typically hydrochloric acid though).
Is the pool tiled or a liner?

30oc is warm for most pools. 30+ is where I would expect to see spa, hydrotherapy or pools for elderly or special needs. Take it from someone whose job it was to monitor public and private pools for over 5 years. Higher temperatures will also require higher chemical dosing and will require matched air temperatures - you ideally want to keep your air temp within 1oc of your pool temp. So at 30oc you need to be heating your pool area to similar. If the air temperature gets too cool you will get bad condensation and ‘rain out’ where the evaporated moisture rapidly condenses and is like indoor rain.
