Looking for some advice on part for a first time gaming build.

Budget may be able to squeeze this far for a full set up (box, screen, speakers, kouse, keyboard)

Blu ray is not needed but may be nice to have? / saves buying one later when games come on blu ray maybe?

The main gaming this will be used for is rpgs.

This will also be used as the main media player, music/iplayer/dvd's.

I dont wish to spend any more than this, tho a cheaper for simular power would not be a bad thing :D

Was tempted to go for a pre build oc rig, like the £500 WoW one (wont be playing WoW tho), any thoughts on this please?

If i learn how i may try to oc the i5 a bit, but wont be going too mad to start.

Well, from what I recall i5 750/760 won't overclock too well on a H55 chipset board, you might want to spend a little more on getting a P55 board instead.

Also, for the mouse I would recommend the Gigabyte GM-M6880 over the Microsoft Basic you chosen. It is a laser mouse with switchable between 800 and 1600dpi, and is also £9.99 and free deliver...just google for it.

Everything else seems fine.
