Hi All,

Im looking at the following:

Sapphire HD5850 ATI Radeon VaporX Overclocked PCI-E 2.0 1024mb 256-bit GDDR5 video card, 2x DVI, HDMI, Displayport
8GB Corsair Twin3X 240-pin DDR3 1600Mhz PC-12800 Kit (4x 2048mb sticks) w/Dominator heat spreader, 8-8-8-24
1000Gb 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 7200RPM SATA-II hard disk, 32mb cache ST31000528AS
Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H AM3 890GX w/SPDIF, Firewire, USB3
Lite-On SATA 22X DVD-RW SATA drive
AMD Phenom II X4 AM3 925 (2.8Ghz) 64-Bit Quad-Core CPU, 8mb, SocketAM3 CPU w/AMD fan HDX925WFGIBOX
Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced Tower case
650w Corsair HX-650 ATX Modular Power Supply

As a total upgrade to my PC which is 6 years old (AMD 3500+, 6800GT >_> )

Im only going to be using it for playing MMO's and general messing about but is there anything you would change about the above? Im kind of hoping to get five years of use out of it if I can....

Thanks!

i'd drop to 4gb of memory and get a 1055t cpu instead. (stock cooler for 1055t isnt loud and my chip only hits 50-55c at full load something which never happens outside of benchmarks not played a game that goes over 35% cpu usage so it would probably last you 5 years)

buy more ram when you need to , im running 64bit win7 and still yet to play anything that uses anywhere near 4gb of memory.

Thanks for the advice guys :)
