I want to create a movie but add zomg cat to it. I've downloaded an older version of movie maker (which does work with windows 7) because my live movie maker doesn't seem to have a timeline for editing audio and video. I can't figure out how to insert the cat scenes between frames of the first movie. I understand how to right click and mute audio once it's been dragged down to the audio timeline. I can only see how to add the cat scenes to the end of the timeline of the first movie. 
I need it to be like this video, where the audio of the first movie is continuous, but the video is interspersed with the cat:
