Ok, I'm at my wits end now, dont what the hell is up with my pc now. As I said the other day, my motherboard kept saying System failed CPU test, the only reply I got was to reset to default settings in the BIOS, so I did. After that when I turned it on it just said system failed memory test and that was it, no boot screen no nothing. So I took out each memory stick, turned it on, nothin, swapped them round, nothin. Took off the heat synch and blew some dust off, to be honest, didnt really have much of a clue what I was looking for, I took the entire board out then also.
Put it all back in, pressed the on button, nothin at all now. Not even a system failed memory test, not a thing moved or changed, a light on the motherboard came on but that was about it. If anyone knows how to fix this I would be grateful.
Otherwise can someone please spec me a new motherboard for around 60 pounds please, I have an AMD chip at the moment if that helps, I dont know if it does.
