I have just built my first PC so am very new to overclocking, etc.

My system spec is as follows: -

1 x Intel Quad Core CPU QX6700
1 x Asus P5N32E-SLi Motherboard
1 x Nvidia GTX8800 Graphics card
2 x 1GB Corsair TwinX XMS2 Dominator RAM
2 x 320GB Hard drives (raid 0)

My BIOS is currently auto detecting all settings. I haven't touched any settings what so ever & don't get me wrong my PC is running fine.

However, I would very much appreciate it if somebody would walk me through thoroughly testing my RAM to make sure it's running at the best efficiency.

Also, if anybody can point me in the right direction on how RAM works & the relationship it has with the mobo, etc, would be great so I can understand RAM a lot more.

I am currently using a program called Si-Sandra but at the moment it's pointless me running the tests because I would not know by looking at the results as to whether my RAM is performing at it's maximum capability.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
