Just got my Zotac 4090 (the base Trinity model). I have a Corsair RM1000e so not worried about power, but I am worried about heat.

Can someone please advise me on undervolting, power settings, clock settings, etc.? I'm happy with stock performance, I'd like to just improve efficiency.

What is the best tool? Afterburner? Sorry, I've not messed with a card in a long time as I just ran the last one stock.

Thanks in advance.

You're in luck - Guru3D just posted an article on undervolting/overclocking with Afterburner:

As a starting point, run a demanding game flat-out (no v-sync) and see what Core Clock frequency your 4090 settles at - then try to get that frequency stable at around 990 mV (if it's unstable either raise the voltage a little or decrease the frequency).

I usually just either alt-tab to Afterburner or look at its monitor panel after quitting out - you could also set up RTSS (bundled with Afterburner) to view your frequency/temps/fps etc. in-game.
