Can someone recomend memory for this CPU and MOBO?

Hi im gonna do another build based on the i7 3770k and Gigabyte UP4 TH Mobo, could you recomend 16gb? I know you may say its overkill as 8gb is usualy enough but while i have the money i might as well.
So maybe 12gb would be a good middle ground? i don't know so any suggestions.

i have that ram and it is brilliant stuff gives me no hassle and if you ever want to overclock it you can take it to 2133mhz

hey,im running 8gb of samsung green @2133mhz 1.55v dram just fine on that motherboard

do you really need 16gb? i actually sold 8gb of my ram as i didnt see the point in more than 8gb?

if your an overclocker you'll see better memory clocks with 8gb

if not then go for the cheapest 1600mhz 8/16gb memory imo

as for the crucial memory i have no experience using those,seems expensive for 16gb though

not sure you can,it only supports dual channel/2 sticks so two sticks of 4gb or 8gb ect or 4 sticks of 2gb/4gb/8gb

Yep, thats it. Not as fancy looking as other ram kits, but it's so small therefore no clearance issues with any cooler. That and it's ability to overclock so highly.
