Hi all,
I have a WD MyCloud NAS, i've had it for years and its great for what I need it for. I map a drive to it on my machine and can drag and drop to my heart's content. That however, is on my PC and my last laptop before that.
For some unknown reason, my Windows Surface Laptop refuses to resolve the name/IP address in Windows. Meaning I can see the device on the network (as below pic), I can ping it but can't access it. I can browse to it's webpage fine but simply can not get to the folder structure within it.
Any ideas? I even went to the extent of reinstalling Windows (Pro) only to encounter the same issue. Googling the issue doesn't bring up much other than ensuring that SMB 1.0 is ticked in program and features.
I do recall this once working but I'm a loss why it won't now, unless a Windows Update buggered it. This has been like this for over a year for the record.
Thanks,
