I have a kraken x52 brand new in box got that today along with the hue+ I never really overclocked it I have in the past but never wanted to keep it at it because of heat and being paranoid of it. with me not needing a cooler would the rog z270f be a good upgrade since I would be knocking off 33 quid on the cooler. do them ram sticks come in white? im trying to go away from the red and black themesZ270 boards will be what you're looking at, these will allow overclocking if you want to do that (I assume with your current K processors you have overclocked). Also what cooling do you currently have on your CPU? You might be able to re-use it if you have the correct brackets and its suitable.
As for spec, I think you have 2 options, budget Z270 board and i7 7700K with 16gb 3000mhz ram will be over budget by £40-50. Or go with an i5 7600K, slightly better Z270 board and the same ram for a bit less than £500.
Assuming worst case (no cooler to re-use) and sticking to the budget. Obviously check case can take the 150mm cooler height (relatively short so I would hope its fine).

Yes the ram also come in white but out of stock at the moment. There are 2 non led T Force variants for £10 more if you want to take a look at them instead. Yep that ROG board would be fine no issues there, whatever you prefer, it would look good with the T Force ram actually
