Hey all. I'm thinking of just putting 16GB of RAM in my system when the time comes around instead of 32GB, 2 DIMM instead of 4 DIMM.
I want to use 8GB modules instead of 4GB to ensure maximum expanse-capacity later on, up to 64GB.
Can anyone gimme any clues? I've seen plenty of older systems with only one RAM module, but the 2011 socket is a bit beyond all that, so having a minimum module limit wouldn't be ridiculous while supporting up to 8 DIMMs.
