Can the blemishes be sorted?

My car has a few little marks on it, couple of scratches and a couple rust spots, how can these be fixed? I think T-Cut will do the scratches??

What about the rust spots, are these fixable (on a student budget).

Ah screw it might as well ask about my alloys while I'm here....

I can get the car gleaming, but no matter how HARD I scrub the wheels, I cant get these black marks off....? Can I T-cut the alloys too?

i've got a product called wonder wheels, used it to get the marks like that off my mums alloys.

only a *small* amount is needed, but they come out looking like new!

its not that easy

first remove all of the rust, sand the area down, feathering the paint slightly, protect surrounding paint, spray with primer giving several coats if the dimples are small, if not then add abit of filler(AFTER a coat or 2 of primer), sand down again, spray primer over where you feathered original paint. let it harden for a few days. apply a couple of topcoats. let it harden and check its smooth n stuff, then add the laquer. tcut after a few days.

obviously thats not in the greatest of detail, but gives you an idea of what to do. practice doing that on a hidden area or an old wing or door so you know what your doing

cost? £20 max

the dents? use more filler!!

Ok thatnks, I'm lazy so I don't think I'll bother with that!

I will try and clean the alloys though. Another question, how is there so many rust patches on it? Do Ford use cheap paint or something? And no I havent bumped it at all since I got the car!

Stone chips that have gone untreated for a long while, cheap paint, rust under the paint, poor factory treated metals.

Sams fiesta ST was a total mess last year at the RR day, rust all over the place.
