Can the filesize of *.png be reduced?

Got this as a site banner...

But filesize is a bit big. Can it be reduced somehow without noticable loss of quality?

oops... Photoshop said the origiaonal was 350k

If you don't need the transparancy then you can probably get the compression a bit higher.

It needs to be transparent unfortunately.

i usually use a free utility called PNGGauntlet

It's mostly gradients that whomp the filesize. Try reducing the gradient on the outerglow around the girls and font.
