Can the forum help me with my image problem?

I have a picture of a cat.

There is a distinct discrepancy between the thumbnail image and the image that I see when I open it.

What is the problem here? Do I need to upgrade to Vista?

You need to format your hard drive immediately.

seems like it's something to do with your set size for uploading. It appears that the software is resizing the picture and for some reason just focusing on that bit of the pic :/

Sent the original to me if you want and I'll see if it happens for me too.

Tried deleting thumbs.db but no dice.

Try opening it with something other than windows picture and fax viewer.

In PSP the thumbnail shows up correctly (just the head).
I've heard of EXIF info containing cropped data, which can be restored using the right app but I've no idea if thats correct.
